Nacho Libre Movie Reviews

“As often as Black’s paunchy antics connect, Hess’ patchy comedy may have you saying, ‘No mas.’”

– Thomas Delapa, BOULDER WEEKLY
“A thin and tasteless Nacho.”

– Angela Baldassarre, SYMPATICO.CA
“A perfect storm of excessive mugging and catch-phrasery.”

– Josh Bell, LAS VEGAS WEEKLY
“I really did want to like this film, but I found it pedantic and dull. I actually dozed off in the middle, and I haven’t done that since Elizabethtown.”

BEBO NORMAN NOT READY FOR MAJOR LEAGUES

Bebo Norman on CrutchesBEBO NORMAN NOT QUITE READY FOR MAJOR LEAGUES
Sporting Accident Does Not Interfere With Upcoming Album and Tour Plans

(Nashville, Tenn.) June 9, 2006 – During a recent intense game of wiffle ball, artist/producer/composer Bebo Norman sustained a broken leg while attempting to score the go-ahead run at the plate during the First Annual Memorial Day Invitational in Nashville, Tenn. Immediate medical reports indicate that Norman will need to be placed on the 15-day disabled list, possibly extending beyond that period. The September 19, 2006 release of Between the Dreaming and the Coming True, all summer concert dates and Norman’s extensive fall tour in support of the new project all have the green light, however.

Barely missing a step, Norman comments from his crutch-supported stance, “I was safe I tell ya, safe!”

Day of Fire “Cut & Move”

Day of Fire Rock music with sizzling electric guitar, and tight bass lines. This is hard, solid rock music with incessant, driving drumming, rhthmic guitars and driving bass.
Day of Fire = rock music, yet points you to The Rock.

With their sophomore release “Cut & Move”, Day of Fire cuts their niche in Christian rock music even deeper and moves to the top of the charts with songs like “Love”, “Frustrating” and “Run”.

With one Dove Award (Rock Album of the Year 2005) under their belt and a Grammy nomination for best Gospel Rock Album (2005), Day of Fire is emerging as a powerful force in Christian Music. Their brand of hard rock is straight ahead fist pumpin’, head bangin’ rock that carries a message of hope and grace through aggressive lyrics and massive, heavy guitar work.

From dayoffire.com:

“With music that pounds the body and soul, Day of Fire’s “Cut & Move” deals with cutting yourself away from the failures of yesterday, leaving behind the burdens of the past, and moving into the future,” according to lead singer Josh Brown.”

Josh Brown, the high energy, humble, and charismatic lead singer of Day of Fire has an awesome testimony that chronicles his days leading the heavy metal group Full Devil Jacket.
