Question by your worst nightmare: What type of praise music is sung in your church?
Could you name the artists and or songs.

Thanks. I want to get some more praise music on my iPod =)
I really LOVE the traditional gospel that makes you drive 90 mph with out noticing…then not getting a ticket when you explain that you were listening to Aretha Franklin singing O Happy Day!…lol

But really I do love the old school gospel

Balance: ALCF is known for its balanced worship style and teaching ministry. In worship, we sing both contemporary choruses and traditional hymns with song lyrics displayed on large screens. In addition, worshippers are free to dress in either casual attire or their “Sunday best”. The teaching at ALCF is also balanced. Question by Richard Haas: Christian Alternative?
Are there any alternative/indie sounding Christian bands that sound like Cake, the killers, breathe owl breathe, the decemberists, the temper trap or the strokes. I already kinda know about the Future of forrestry. are there any others.

Unfortunately, modern Christian music sounds terrible and the words are shallow.

Go with some old school hymns accompanied with an organ. Seriously, that music is amazing.
