A Guy’s Guide to Life – Review

how to become a man in 224 pages or less

I was pretty excited to get this book and review it as I have a 13 year old son. My wife got the mail before I was home and was shocked to see what was in the book. Yes, this is a book written for teenage guys, and of course guys think about sex. That is definitely a chapter in the book.

All in the author of A guy’s Guide to Life, Jason Boyett has done a pretty good job at trying to keep the attention of teenage boys while diving into touchy subjects. Jason touches on the main points of Dating, Communication, Peer Pressure, Grooming, Health, Sex, Family, Friends, and Faith. All in all he has done a good job at hitting the main points that most parents want their teenage boys to know about the subjects.

This isn’t a book I am going to give my son just, yet but it is definitely a book that I may consider in a year or two. If you are a parent looking to help give some advice to your son this may be just the book.
