BEBO NORMAN RECEIVES DOVE AWARD NOMINATION FOR
BETWEEN THE DREAMING AND THE COMING TRUE
Artist / producer / composer Bebo Norman received a Dove Award nomination yesterday in the category of Pop/Contemporary Album for his critically-acclaimed Between the Dreaming and the Coming True. The nominees for the 38th Annual Gospel Music Association (GMA) Dove Awards were announced February 20, at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Nashville, Tenn. The Dove Awards will be handed out on April 25, 2007 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. The awards show will be televised in national syndication in May.
Norman shares, “During the making of Between the Dreaming and the Coming True, I was reminded of just how much I love the process of writing and recording music, and how amazing it is that I get to continue to do this. That, coupled with receiving this nomination for the work that Jason (Ingram) and I put in to producing this album, is one of the most rewarding experiences in my life, and for that, I am truly thankful.”
Between the Dreaming and the Coming True, Norman’s fifth major studio project, released September 19, 2006. “The title, Between the Dreaming and the Coming True, was inspired by a book by Robert Benson with the same name,” explains Norman. “It was so poignant to me because this really is where life as a believer is lived. I’ve never written a group of songs that expressed more intently life lived in the real and in the everyday. It is about hope eternal played out against the backdrop of a difficult world.” For all tour dates and additional information on Bebo Norman, visit www.bebonorman.com.
