Google, Yahoo - Adsense, YPN and other info

A friend of mine recetnly invited me to join Orkut. Thank you darnell. I will keep you updated on how well it seems to be working and what it is all about.

Google Stock today is hovering around $465 a share! Can you believe it! it is simply amazing and making a lot of us some good money. Thank you google. What happens when it eclipses $500 a share? Will there be talk of splitting.

I think Google will begin thinking of splitting their shares to bring the price back around $250 - 300 a share. So when it goes over $500 and than eyes $600 a share I think we will hear talk of this.

So look out, $600 is coming!

It bugs me that someone would think that this site is based on hate towards google. If you review the site you will see it was actually based on love for google and their great ideas. In fact it was originally begun as a Google only review site, since they were so awesome.

I have emailed them to review my account and reinstate it. For an explanation read the post. When they reinstate my account or sufficiently email me, I will then let you all know and tell you how they took care of the problem in a correct manner.

I would hope they would send the money that is due for the thousands of visitors from the CL blogging network that were sent their way. Also I want to be able to continue to use Adsense since there have been no violations on our part. I like google, I think they need to think before they use their power in an abusive way.

So, when something is done to correct the problem, I will sufficiently let you know. At that time I can move on, and continue to promote google inventions.

That is right Google is a Fraud. They say that my Google Adsense account is associated with another account. They say this after they owe me a lot of money. They say this after they have approved my account and let me send many people there way.

They would have known whatever it is they think is the truth when they approved my account. They are guilty of stealing my visitors. Not that these visitors help them very much, but whatever they know and of course will not tell us, and than since they hold the power can do whatever they like.

They are like Microsoft was, only much worse since they hold the way we earn our living in their hands. It does not matter how little or how large their crime is. It is a crime to take something without paying appropriately for it. They took my visitors and then jsut way whatever they want and keep the money. They are becomign the Evil Google that Microsoft used to be.

Stay away from Google. Use YPN or the new MSN Ad program.

Google is jumping in with both feet into the online video scene. Google announced plans this week to allow content owners to set their own prices in a bid to create a more flexible alternative to Apple Computer Inc.’s pioneering iTunes store. I see this as an awesome idea and can not wait to see it take off. Google stock price jumped again when hearing the news.
“It’s the biggest marketplace of content that was previously offline and is now brought online,” said Jennifer Feikin, director of Google Video. Since Apple began selling video for iPods’ there was not much competition, and now google is about to change all of that. This should be exciting to watch this area grow. This may take place on Google Base, in another move to promote that feature of Google, which is now making more and more sense.

I have noticed throughout some of the CrimsonLight blogging network and especially on the Tech Review site. We have noticed today that yahoo Publisher Network (YPN) has been making changed and the targeting of ads has become much better. It comes with great thanks from us, and all bloggers that are trying it out. Lately it seemed that it had gone downhill and as all bloggers know that bad targeting hurts the check. Lower income is not good. So better targeting means more clicks which will translate to higher earnings for us bloggers.
We had just began writing an article on the bad targeting, than hopped on a flight from Canada to the USA, when we noticed it was better. Keep up the good work YPN. We will continue to compare the different Ad programs.

Motorola plans to put Google’s Internet search technology into the software that runs its mobile phones and work with Kodak to make on-the-go web surfing and photo swapping easier.

This year the world’s second biggest cellphone maker will start letting customers bring up a Google search engine at the touch of a button on some phones, the two companies said yesterday from Las Vegas.

Motorola also announced that it has signed a 10-year deal to work with Kodak to make camera phones easier to use.

Google Chief Executive Eric Schmidt said his company, which runs the world’s most popular web search engine, made the agreement because he believes that in the future mobile devices will be where consumers access the Internet most often.

“People are going to spend all their time on it eventually,” said Schmidt, referring to the mobile Internet. He expects that much of that usage will come from the combination of phones that can pinpoint user location with its localised search software. “The most obvious thing is maps,” Schmidt said at Motorola’s Press event at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the largest electronics show in the US.

The companies said their three-year agreement is not exclusive, but Schmidt said Motorola was the obvious partner because of the success of its Razr phone, which has become a design icon. At least one analyst believes that quicker access to web search will lead many more people to use the web on cellphones.

Most people do not use the internet on the phones, due to the hassle of it all. The phones are not designed for it. Phone plans are not set up to make internet usage a main part of the service. Also websites are not designed or optimized for this mobile internet. Google of course can solve most problems it seems and bring around these lagging areas for the internet and mobile phones.

This team of companies sounds like a start. It will be exciting to see where they take us. Yahoo is also looking at areas to expand. Yahoo is expanding beyond the PC, and moving onto Web-enabled cell phones and other mobile devices so users can access their customised content while on the go. Yahoo Go Mobile, a new service set to be launched at the International Consumer Electronics Show, is the latest example of the growing area of get-your-information-anytime-anywhere.
